Meet our Volunteers

MCCA as a ministry was once summarized as an organization that is not made up of any one person, but rather MCCA is made up of many people from many churches and walks of life who contribute mightily to God's work.

“In as much as you did it to one of the least of these, my brethren, you did it to Me.” - Matthew 25:40

Please meet some of the individuals that the Lord has called to serve Him through MCCA.

Amber Birdwell

Volunteer since 2025

Amber moved to Redlands in 2025 and wanted to get involved with MCCA right away. Her grandfather, Roger Whitman, being a long-time volunteer was a huge influence but she also feels called to serve the orphans of Baja California. She brings youth and enthusiasm to every trip.

Seth Wallace and Caleb Wallace

Volunteers since 2015

Seth and his son Seth have been faithful volunteers. You ask them for help and they will do it with gusto. Flour? They'll move it. Long run through traffic? Say less. Coordinate printing of the MCCA newsletter? Considerate it done. It's been a joy seeing Caleb grow up and seeing his own commitment to serving the Lord. It's been a blessing having both Seth and Caleb and we're thankful for their faithfulness, and young backs.

Olga Hernandez

Volunteer since 2022

Olga proudly serves as MCCA's communication liaison with the ministries we serve. She brings a lifetime of experience with her that fits so well with MCCA's culture of humble service in a way only God could have orchestrated. She always has a smile when we report back to her how many ministry volunteers report they are so thankful for her lines of communication.

Terry Dabbs

Volunteer since 2023

Terry has been riding along with Steve Diaz but recently felt called to drive for MCCA. He will be the first to tell you that God has blessed him way more abundantly that he deserves. He is happy being able to serve the Lord and is ecstatic he has found MCCA to serve alongside with.

Martha Kilbourne

Volunteer since 2022

Martha is one of those volunteers that MCCA is so blessed to have. Not only have her bilingual talents gotten us out of some sticky situations in Mexico, but she steps up into whatever role is asked of her. Whether she's known you for forever or is meeting you for the first time, she will warmly greet you with a genuine love that is the example of the love Christ has for us all.
